Hi,

I was one of the audience for Pirates of Caribbean screened on 18th June 2007 at 845pm at …..

My boyfriend and I were full of anticipation and excitement for this movie and we were so glad that ………was still showing this movie at this time.

…… has often been our cinema choice due to the large leg space and the state of art screening facilities. …… has always been our recommendations to our local and oversea friends as well.

We have been all along satisfied with the quality and services provided by all the ….. Cineplexes which is the reason for our continuous support all these years.

But both of us and I believed many of the rest whom was in the same show as us at the stated date were utterly disappointed and frustrated with the disruption of sound system not on an occasion but several occasions; so many times that I have in fact given up counting. I do understand that sometimes technical errors are random and not within control but ……. could have done more for a Blockbuster movie to ensure that audience can enjoy the movie in a memorable manner by providing basic requirements of screening.

Can you imagine the level of frustration one gets when the sound just went mute at the most exciting parts? This error surfaced repeatedly!

Even for someone like me who is much forgiving towards technical mistake gets so irritated that I am now having second thoughts on recommending friends to ……. for their movies.

A night of excitement and anticipation turned into a night of frustration.

I felt that frustration for audience who were non-Chinese when the sound just went mute; I was still able to read the Chinese subtitles though my mood was totally dampened by the repeated glitches.

I wrote this email not to vent my frustration since the incident is already over but rather to bring to your attention the basic needs of movie goers not being met due to a technical fault by the company.

Being a strong supporter of ….. Cineplexes all these while, I wish to do my part in appreciation for the excellent movies and offers that ……. has been offering us all these while.

Frankly, with this experience I encountered last night, I will be seriously considering if I want to continue ……. as my preferred cinema for future upcoming movies.

Perhaps, I should start looking into other cinema operators offering better movie deals and most importantly essential facilities that allow me to enjoy movies the way I used to have.

My boyfriend has in fact suggested that I published this feedback on Strait Times Forum but I decided not to blow matters up in consideration that this feedback of mine might lead to undesirable commercial effects for …… Cineplexes especially so with the recent opening of …….
