“Ratatouille” is about a lovable rat – Remy – who constantly risks his life in an expensive French restaurant because of his love for good food, as well as a burning desire to become a gourmet chef. Obviously, this is rather far-fetched for a rat but opportunity knocks when a young boy, who desperately needs to keep his job at the restaurant despite not being able to cook to save his life, makes Remy a partner. The two of them learn to avoid the insane head chef, bring the rest of Remy’s family up to his culinary standards, win the boy a girlfriend, and of course, produce the finest ratatouille in all of France!

Guts to be successful
hello universe,
i came back from a short run; afterall my shaperun is coming but my knee seems to be a little challenging for me.
nevertheless, i was on msn with a junior of mine, jx.
she asked me an interesting qn ” was i vocal in uni?”
well, i was really vocal during university period but perhaps in the wrong context. i was real vocal among my friends when we had some chit chat sessions in canteen… when it came to serious stuff like subject matter, i kept real quiet as i didn’t know what they were talking about or rather i wasn’t interested.
apparently, in uni nowadays, there are some courses which take classroom/tutorial participation into the grade consideration…. to encourage open discussion among students and tutors…
well, i guess it’s a culture for singapore or perhaps asia to remain humble and in my understanding, humble = remain silent ; no arguements…
due to the changing paradigms, this no longer is effective in the upcoming world… people are encouraged to voice out their opinions, be it in govt policies, work and even schools…
back to jx’s qn, from her account, she felt malu to speak up in class for the fear of being given the pissed off look of the tutor…
well, it’s so real. personally, dont you agree with me that most people don’t dare to speak up due to this monster FEAR… fear of being looked down, mocked at etc…… frankly, FEAR is a huge obstacle in achieving any dreams of yours….. I agree with this personally as I do have FEAR as well, who doesnt?
Well, having fear is one, but thinking of ways to counter it is another……
If you notice something about the successful people, they are earning most simply by talking, isnt it?
i choose to use GUTs to overcome the monster which is real effective…….
I choose to have GUT , how about you?
