Game On Achieving Leap!

I received my second Adsense Cheque 4 months after the first one (Plus: the book I read to implement the strategies)

Yeah! The first one was a long wait after almost 1 year. The second one came slightly faster: 4 months after I received my first one in June.

Here’s my 2nd one:

I guess some of you might been interested to know how I do it.

  • Consistent Valuable Content on my niche topics for my readers
  • I read books from Adsense guru like Joel Comm (I bought his adsense secrets 4.0 for $9.95(usd) and read and of cos apply 1 – 2  of the strategies he taught) To be honest, I was lazy as I did not track the progress of the strategies I imply ;)
  • My personal advice to all bloggers who want to get more out of Adsense is first ensure that there is a consistent level of traffic to your site.

This book is now FREE with a risk-free subscription plan which you can cancel anytime. I thought this is really an irresistible offer.More details here

I would love to hear from bloggers who have consistently made revenue from Adsense as well as those who have tried for many months (like me , one year for my first cheque to come by) and yet to see the results.

Drop me your comments and perhaps your personal strategies for more to benefit from your experience.

PS: I heard from friends that they have friends who get their Adsense cheque real fast as they get their friends to help them to click on the ads. Beware that Google has its means to track the clicks! I must admit I did ask my friends to click for me for the first month when I started off with Adsense but it will not work out long term.

PPS: Never write for the sake of Adsense, write with the right intention to value add your readers with the topic you are passionately about and you will be rewarded accordingly.

Recommendations For Chinese Restaurant – Folk 60th Birthday

I sent out an email asking all my friends for Chinese Restaurants recommendation as I really don’t know where to eat other than Ding Tai Fung and perhaps my fav Crab – Melben @ AMK

Here are the replies of many of my friends. (There are repeated entries though)

Thanks, friends!

There’s a dim sum place near the subordinate court somewhere in the chinatown area (havelock rd? cant remember) that i like…very traditional HK to me…meaning the women there are pushing carts and screaming canto at one another…very ???haha. food was good as i remember…but i was only there for dim sum…which was very early i think at 8.30am…dunno whether their meals are good.
or come to shanghai, i know many good chinese places here!
Crystal jade (for good food at a reasonable price) or Tung Lok if you want to spend?

go to www.hungrygowhere.com

You can check blogs like ieatishootipost or hungrygowhere.com but these are the places my family usually go to

1) Dian Xiao Er – very value for money, they are opening 1 at JP in nov.

2) Soup Restaurant – the one at JP

3) Boon Lay Raja opp JEC – the very old fashioned chinese food kind which i dun like plus i think the prices are gg up, so not value for money

Other chi char place to rec

- the one at tiong bahru, erm i cant rem the exact block no but quite famous one

- XO fish bee hoon at HV

- there is one quite popular opp Chinese Garden MRT too

Tung Lok or Crystal Jade?
Old folks like dim sum… You can consider dat.

I know of a place that sells good xiao long tang bao (better than Ding Tai Fung), zha jiang noodles, red bean pan biscuit, etc beijing eats.  It’s old old kind of small shop but seems to be famous even to local celebs (at least I saw Wen Shu Sheng aka MediaWorks ex-top mgt, Chef Eric Teo, MTV VJ Nadia that day I went).  By the way, u are only allow in when all ur ppl have arrived.
Name: Jing (Beijing’s Jing) Hua (zhong hua’s hua) Xiao Chi OR Qun Zhong Eating House
Add: 21 Neil Road, S 088814
Tel: 62213060
Biz Hrs: 11.30 am – 3pm; 5.30pm – 9.30pm (close every wed)

You can try the teochew restaurant at Bukit Batok

If not, can try the dimsum at the 5-star restaurant at outram

Or yum cha at china town

chinese food and eating out not quite my forte.. but the very few places I’ve been to include
- Bosses (vivocity)
- Noble House (UIC Building) – its chinese buffet style, under Tung Lok group
- Lao Beijing quite highly recommended though I’ve never tried it..
- and  i think our good old boring Crystal Jade..
I recommend Gim Tim in Ang Mo Kio. My family used to go there for
celebrations, like bd. The chinese name is jin3 zhen1. Will definitely
go there when i go home….yummmmmm. dunno if it is too far for you to
go though…

I Have Something To Admit … Hardly Anyone Knows About It

I Have Something To Admit … Hardly Anyone Knows About It …

I realised about this just recently, or rather I verify it just lately.

Sometimes you don’t know about yourself until you put yourself in action and see the outcome of your actions.

This time, I’m shocked myself…

I’ll be honest here …

Few know of this talent of mine. I started realizing this hidden talent mine a few years back but didn’t take serious view of it until recent few months where I was the main copywriter for a few projects and every single project brings in a considerable revenue for my client.

I did attend a workshop held by a renowned copywriter from Australia in 2007. It gave me a headstart in the world of copywriting. I have been reading, observing how successful companies and individuals write copies which convey their messages effectively and interestingly across to their audience.

All these are fun. Yes. I do model some of them but adjust it according to some of the personal style I have.

Yes! I am a closet copywriter! Who knows maybe I will come out of this closet one fine day or I will stay in my closet and continue with writing while pursuing my passion – unleashing potential in the young ones.

Who else here is also a closet __________________ ? Hands up :-)
