Nokia E71 Camera Was Disappointing Until I Found …. you must press ‘T’ on the keypad to focus on near object.
I was previously using Nokia 5610, XpressMusic Player. It has awesome camera which coincidentally has the same number of pixels as my E71. My 5610 produces great image, but not E71.
I was about to send it for servicing when one of my IT inclined student told me a ‘trick’ I need to press on Button T to focus on near objects before I press the shoot button. Thanks Caleb!
My student saves me a trip to Nokia service centre which I have planned to send my E71 for servicing.
And that the minor issue is resolved, I’m happy!

My 3rd Google Adsense Cheque (And My Uses For It)

It was a really good feeling to receive cheque (green ones) in my mailbox unknowingly. I got my 3rd Adsense Cheque after a 5 month wait. My 2nd one came in late October.

Well, it is unlike others who received green cheques monthly! with amount totaling over thousands of dollars. Mine is usually around 150+ SGD.

Though my amount is insignificant, it fuels my motivation to continue to share my expertise and thoughts with the world, benefitting readers both globally and locally, one at a time. My Adsense Cheque also (barely) pays for my hosting fees with Hostgator (Been using their services since 2007) and my domain names with NameCheap.

On top of that, I also use any remaining money to buy ebooks, home study courses once a blue moon. I have been cutting down on that since I have piles of materials yet to complete reading & implementing!

For those who have yet to get your 1st Adsense Cheque, work hard and smart towards it and most importantly keep your faith. The 1st one is usually a long wait afterall it’s a steep learning curve. The eventual cheques will arrive much faster provided you continue to working on your blogs!

Based on the estimation, I will perhaps get 3 cheques annually which will total to perhaps $450 SGD. Well, after paying off Hostgator, NameCheap, oh yes aweber! I think it’s not even sufficient! Not to mention getting a WII console.

Look likes I need to work harder!
