Update: I got my 2nd Cheque as of October 31, 2008 
I was introduced to the concept of Internet Marketing in May 2007 during World Internet Summit Singapore. Was totally blown off by the ideas being introduced. I started off like a wild horse, dabbling into different types of Internet Tools.
I was totally overwhelmed.
I was totally excited.
I was totally frustrated as I do not know what to focus on. (There are million and one things)
BUT I learnt many things which are totally not what most gurus mention:
- There is no such thing as being a millionaire overnight!
- It is not as easy as perceived to have a online income BUT it is true that anyone can achieve passive income in any niches (aka fields of INTEREST)
Note: I mention field of INTEREST. The niche which you choose to spend your time and sweat in must be an area you are 100% passionate about NOT primarily for $ but to make differences (small and huge) in tens, hundreds and thousands of life locally and globally. - It takes effort and consistency, definitely the right set of objectives to share and help too.
Only then will you be rewarded for your effort. I got this Google Adsense primarily for my passion in spreading what I know best in – Mathematics tips and strategies to help students, parents and educators to enhance their learning and teaching journey. Yes! It took my 1 year to earn a cheque from Google. I will be sharing in my Adsense journey in my post later.
Meanwhile, to everyone out there, Adsense is true! and ANYONE can achieve what you want as long as we perserve on to our goals!

I’ve been with adsense for years but have not receive any cheque due to my ignorance how adsense works.
It is hard work but at the end of the day when you receive the cheque, all those hard work are worth it!

It takes lots of patience for the first cheque to come along. But it’s all worthwhile.
It was a cheque in my local currency, SGD (as previously requested in Adsense account) so it was like any other cheque clearance – about 1 – 2 days after deposit of cheque.
So you getting yours soon?

Hi, Is the cheque only payable to CITIBANK only? I just received my Adsense Cheque recently, just wondering if the cheque is available to other banks as well.
The cheque is issued by Citibank I think. But you can bank in to ANY banks.
