For the past few days, I have seen our Indians friends lugging sugar cane back. The first thought that came to my mind is that ” indians have the culture of praying to the Tian Gong (aka Gods) meh?”

On 2nd thought, it doesnt make sense to me as I remember sugar-caning lugging for Chinese should be during Chinese New Year period.

Anyone knows why our Indians friends are lugging sugar cane?
